2014 Taste of Louisville
Louisville is home to many great restaurants. No matter what style of food you crave, there are numerous options to choose from. Our city is home to chain restaurants, as well as a great local scene. There are so many choices, it may seem impossible to try all the restaurants on your list to visit.
The 2014 Taste of Louisville is a great way to experience some of Louisville’s finest restaurants. For over forty years, all styles of restaurants have been represented at the Taste of Louisville. Right now at least thirty-seven restaurants will be participating in the 2014 event.
Participating restaurants include Aspen Creek, the Blue Horse Restaurant & Bar, Captain’s Quarters, Come Back Inn, El Camino, Manny & Merle, Roux, Sway, Varanese and Wick’s Pizza. Guests will enjoy tasting a sample from each of the participating restaurants. It’s a great way to find new favorite.
Delicious foods and beverages will be available throughout the evening. Each restaurant will have an exhibitor table that you can visit. Guests can also check out the Flight Lounge or Bourbon Dive. Set at the Louisville Executive Aviation, beautiful natural lighting will set the mood in this unique setting.
Individual tickets for the event are $50.00. You can reserve a ticket that includes a seat at a table of eight for $56.25. If you fall in love with the event this year, be on the lookout for early bird tickets for the 2015 event. Prices are discounted leading up to the event and worth watching for. This year the event will take place on October 8th, starting at 6:00 p.m. The 2014 Taste of Louisville will be held at Bowman Field, at 2700 Gast Blvd.
The Kentucky Restaurant Association is a sponsor of this anticipated event. The group provides scholarships, taste events and special legislation. They host events throughout the year, such as their annual Cuisine on the Green, KRA Day at the Races, or the Celebration of Industry Professionals. The 2015 Restaurateur’s Gala is scheduled for this coming January.
The KRA is also a great resource for local business owners as they seek to grow their business. There are over one thousand members of the KRA. If you are a local restaurant owner, the KRA provides beneficial resources, such as discounts to help with advertising, credit card processing, employee training, payroll, web design and more.
