Clean Southern Comedy Tour

Has it been one of those weeks? You know the kind, where everything you touch seems to go wrong. Maybe you’ve been sick and are ready to break loose from the lethargic state you’ve been trapped in. A lot of Louisville residents are dealing with the winter blues. Winter has not been kind to the commonwealth and it continues to show its ugly face! It’s not too late to take back your week, and there’s nothing better to help you do that than a hilarious comedy show.

Louisville’s own Tom Mabe has been a standup comedian for over fifteen years. He is the star of CMT’s comedy “Mabe in America.” Tom is also a regular guest on radio shows like “Bob & Tom” and “Drew & Mike.” You can check out Tom on YouTube, where he currently has over fifty million hits on his channel Mabe in America. The New York Times, People magazine, CNN, New York Post and more have all raved about Tom’s ability to make America laugh.

Tom’s jokes help America laugh at the trying things that they face daily. From telemarketers and family issues to vacations gone wrong, Tom has a story that will relate to everyone. He will also entertain you through his original songs. The Clean Southern Comedy tour is guaranteed to make you laugh so hard you cry.

The tour stops at the Clifton Center this weekend on March 29th. Tom will perform two shows that evening beginning at 7:00 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. Tickets are $25.00 apiece. For each ticket purchased, $5.00 will be donated to the KY Humane Society. Make sure you purchase tickets here so that a donation is made to the KY Humane Society.

Tom is partnering with the KY Humane Society to help raise money for its shelters. KHS is now the largest pet adoption agency in the state. They strive to save each animal that comes into their shelter. The main goal is that each pet finds a loving, new home. In 2013 6,316 dogs and cats were placed into adopted homes. That set a record for the most adoptions in a year at KHS.

The KY Humane Society has nine locations across Kentuckiana. Visit their website for more information about their services and animals up for adoption. You can support this special cause when you attend the Clean Southern Comedy Tour at the Clifton Center this Saturday.
