Fall Sports Leagues in Louisville

Do you enjoy being active? Lifting weights, going for a run or completing a nice cardio set usually leave you feeling better than when you started. We all know it’s a good idea to incorporate physical fitness into our lives, but sometimes our schedules just take over. Does this sound familiar?

Have you ever played Ultimate Frisbee? If not just picture a lot of running. Oh, and the throwing and blocking of a regulated Frisbee disc. If you enjoy frequent pickup games at the park, why not join the Fall Ultimate Frisbee League? You need to commit to eleven plus Saturdays this fall. Teams will compete at Thurman Hutchins Park. After playing, you can enjoy the scenic view of the Ohio River at the end of your match.

The Ultimate Frisbee League will end with a tournament to crown the champs. The league is a fun way to get yourself moving and meet others in the community. The Sunday FunDay Kickball League starts this coming Sunday, August 24th. You can still register to participate in this eight week league. Teams will meet at Elks Lodge on Sunday afternoons to battle it out on the kickball field. Teams can register for $648.00 or individuals can sign up for $59.00. Fall is almost here, and that means that it’s football season! Don’t settle for watching the game from your couch or the sports bar. Sign up to play in a local Flag Football league! There are many flag football leagues that are set to start around the city soon. Men’s and co-ed leagues are available. Berrytown Park, JCC and Tom Sawyer Park will all host leagues.
