Girl’s Night Out with Diana at the Frazier History Museum

It’s been a busy week, and you’ve finally gotten a day off. You want to spend time with your friends, but you feel somewhat disappointed in your options. Dinner at the same restaurants you’ve been to a thousand times. Going to a movie you’re only a little interested in seeing. Maybe another round of mini golf at the local course, or a trip around the malls to the stores you’re all too familiar with. It might not seem like much of a day off if you haven’t got anything fresh and exciting to look forward to, but what else is there for you to enjoy in Louisville?

Well, for starters there is the Girl’s Night Out event taking place at the Frazier Museum this Thursday. It coincides with the museum’s “Diana: A Celebration” exhibition that will be on display from now until January 13, 2013. This presentation includes mementos and family heirlooms from the life of the Princess of Wales, as well as thousands of dollars worth of jewelry, and a few priceless tiaras, too. There will also be a gallery displaying many of the humanitarian’s famous designer dresses, including her royal wedding gown.

Girl’s Night Out includes admission to the “Diana: A Celebration” event, and has several exciting activities to engage in. There will be mini massages and a fashion photo booth, not to mention amazing eye makeovers by specialists from J. Michael’s Spa & Salon. Cellar Door Chocolates will be providing wonderful drinks and appetizers, and for those who wish to dance the night away, there will also be music. Royal Jewelers will be hosting a Tacori jewelry trunk show, where guests can try on beautiful gems and diamonds, and for $25, you can get in on all seven drawings for the $20,000 worth of jewelry they’re giving away, too!

Get out with the girls for a fun night at the Frazier Museum. It’s not only a great place to go for an evening of entertainment and relaxation, it’s also a great way to learn about the life and times of Diana, Princess of Wales. Mix education with recreation and indulge in this once in a lifetime opportunity to see Diana up close and personal.
