Pancakes with Santa

As many of you already know, Santa is an important part of the holidays. First of all, he's watching children all the time and making crucial decisions based on their behavior. For the naughty kids, it's a lump of coal, but for the nice ones, there's almost unlimited possibilities. Well-behaved children can ask Santa for anything, and if he knows, there's a very likely chance they'll find whatever it is they wished for sitting under the tree come Christmas morning. For this reason, children really whip themselves into shape around December, and parents suddenly become very thankful of Santa's watchful eye.

Of course, children can write a letter to Santa concerning the things they want on Christmas, but nothing meets meeting the man himself and telling him what it is you may want. Although Santa will be a very busy man this month, he'll be taking some time out of his schedule to visit the Middletown First Baptist Church on December 14th for their fun Pancakes with Santa event. As the name suggests, pancakes will be involved, but that's only the very tip of the iceberg. This event is sure to be a blast for anyone who wants to come.

As stated, Santa will be there himself between the hours of 9 AM and noon, so if your child has some requests for the big guy, this is a great place to bring them. If you'd like, you can capture this moment with a photo op. After that comes the pancake part of the event, where attendees can enjoy warm pancakes slathered in maple syrup and a cup of hot chocolate. As the weather drops in Louisville, a hot breakfast such as this really gets the mouth watering. After your child has cleared everything up with Santa and you've all enjoyed a delicious breakfast, you can head over to the craft table and make something to take home! After all the fun you have that morning, odds are your child will want something to remember it by. They can use their creativity and whatever supplies Middletown First Baptist Church provides to make a holiday masterpiece.

For children, the cost of the day's activities is five dollars. For individuals twelve and older, the price is seven dollars. All proceeds from the event will be going to the Sullivan University College of Pharmacy.

If a morning spent with Santa and a breakfast of hot pancakes sounds good to you, then all you have to do is show up at Middletown First Baptist Church on the morning of December 12th. Middletown First Baptist Church can be found at 11721 Main Street.
