Plan Your Next Project at the Home Product Expo
Are you the proud owner of a honey-do list around your house? The tasks can quickly add up! Perhaps you don’t have a honey-do list, but a visual dream board where you see each project you’d like to tackle in the upcoming year. Or maybe you’re anticipating the moment you’ll put your house on the market for sale in 2015.
Whatever your motivation, the winter months are the perfect time to start planning projects for your house. Calendars tend to be less busy when it’s cold outside. This gives you plenty of time to put a plan in place for your future project.
Don’t know where to start? There are plenty of resources to help you. The Building Industry Association of Greater Louisville, Window World and the Courier Journal are hosting the Home Product Expo this coming weekend. Numerous vendors will be on exhibition, ready to share their expertise with you and assist as needed.
The Home Product Expo starts Saturday, January 17th from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It continues on Sunday, January 18th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission and parking are free! The expo will be held at the Paroquet Springs Conference Center in Shepherdsville.
Come ready with an idea of what projects you’d like to target in the upcoming year. Bring pictures, measurements and ideas with you. You’ll be able to speak with a variety of vendors, with several areas of expertise on site.
General contractors will be at the Home Product Expo, ready to help you with your remodeling. Projects featured will include kitchen makeovers, bathroom remodeling and window installation. Electricians will also be on hand.
Additional vendors will include restoration and waterproofing companies, as well as water optimization. You’ll be able to meet with vendors and discuss how you can make your home more energy efficient, a project that will give back in the future!
If you’re in the market to purchase new items for your home, some vendors will offer merchandise for sale. Guests will be able to view Cutco Knives, cookware, paint supplies and scentsy products. Dutch Heritage Furniture Gallery will be at the expo to discuss their custom made furniture.
When you attend the Home Product Expo, you will receive one free ticket to attend the Home, Garden & Remodeling Show next month. This large expo is also sponsored by Window World, and is held yearly at the Kentucky Fair and Expo Center. Save the date, February 27th through March 1st. In the meantime, head to the Home Product Expo this weekend to get a jump start on your 2015 home projects!
