Restaurants I Like: Dragon King's Daughter- Highlands

Today I have decided to write a review about one of my favorite restaurants in the Highlands Neighborhood of Louisville: Dragon King's Daughter. Last time I wrote a review of Hammerheads in Germantown.

Dragon King's Daughter is located in a nondescript building in the heart of the Highlands on Bardstown Road.

Dragon King's Daughter is owned by the same people who run Maido on Frankfort Ave in Clifton. According to the restaurant's website, The restaurant "offers an eclectic fusion of Japanese and American fare at an affordable price." I found this statement to be very true and more when I visited the establishment last night. Dragon King's Daughter has a wide variety of foods including tacos, quesadillas, both cooked and raw sushi, and flatbreads -- all with an Asian inspired twist.

On my visit to this restaurant, I had a quesadilla with wasabi pesto sauce and crispy almond & panko breaded chicken breast, which was delicious. My date and I also shared a few sushi rolls which were fresh and reasonably priced. The total for our bill was a very affordable $36 for drinks, salads, an entree, and sushi. I will definitely be back to try Dragon King's Daughter again.
