Where to Watch the Super Bowl in Louisville

Super Bowl Sunday is almost here! The Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks will face off in frigid temperatures in New Jersey for the title of Super Bowl XLVIII Champions. Luckily, you have the luxury of cheering on your chosen team from the inside, whether it be from the comforts of your family room or your favorite local bar. If you’ve not given any thought as to where you’ll watch the game, we’ve got a few suggestions.

Sports & Social Club – Fourth Street Live

You can view every tackle on one of two 100 inch high definition projectors, or one of 50+ high definition tvs. The club has a large menu featuring traditional pub style food. At the Super Sunday Bash, you get appetizers, wings, pizza and beer for $30.00 from 6:00 – 11:00 p.m. You can find more information about the Super Sunday Bash at the 4th Street Live website.

Bungalow Joe’s Bar & Grill

This bar and grill is always packed. One taste of their smoked hickory burger and you’ll know why! Voted “2013 Best Neighborhood Bar” by the Louisville A-List, Bungalow Joe’s offers a menu that will be sure to please. The grill features traditional American pub fare, as well as favorites local to Kentucky. Come ready to cheer on your team in style, while watching on one of 32 high definition tvs or 3 big screen tvs. Located downtown in the Marriot Hotel, Champion’s provides a great atmosphere to enjoy the game in! Host Your Own Super Bowl Party

The alternative to watching the big game in a bar and grill is to watch from the comfort of your own home. Don’t let the thought of hosting a Super Bowl party seem overwhelming. Take to facebook and invite a handful of your friends! Ask each to bring an appetizer to share. Order a few pizzas - I’m sure Peyton Manning, owner of several Papa John’s pizza restaurants, would approve of that! Does the stress of cleaning your house last minute intimidate you? Call a family meeting and have a contest to see who can clean their assigned area the fastest. The promise of having additional friends over to watch the game and play will encourage your little ones to help. Remember, come Sunday night it will all be about watching the most important football game of the season, dancing to the halftime show and laughing at the commercials. Happy Super Bowl!
