Louisville offers all of the attractions and features of a large city while maintaining a small town charm. Whether it’s the college or professional sporting events, the lively theatre and art scene, or the people, one thing is for certain -- there is just something about Louisville that feels right. Louisville has been touted by several publications as one of the nation’s best cities for relocating families. In 2011, Louisville was named one of the top 10 "Best Cities for Families" by Parenting Magazine and one of the "Best Places to Live" by Men's Journal.
Louisville has seen a revitalization of sorts in the past few years. New attractions such as Fourth Street Live, the Muhammad Ali Center, and even a nationally recognized Skateboard Park have joined traditional ‘Louisvillian’ attractions like the Churchill Downs, Seneca, and Cherokee Parks (designed by Frederick Law Olmsted), and the Kentucky Center for the Arts to create a vibrant and diverse place to live.
